Prayer on Canvas Christian Foundation
PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT
The Prayer On Canvas Christian Foundation believes that beauty, charity, and faith are one inseparable act of divine participation. Through sacred art, the human soul becomes both instrument and offering-creating not for vanity, but for worship. Art, when consecrated to God, becomes service. It is through this incarnational vision that the Foundation unites the creative and the compassionate: painting becomes prayer, beauty becomes mercy made visible. Our guiding principle rests upon the ancient hymn *Ubi Caritas et Amor, Deus ibi est* - "Where charity and love are, God is there." In every stroke of the brush, every act of kindness, and every work of service, we recognize the living presence of Christ.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to glorify God through sacred art and acts of charity - nurturing both those who have served and those who will serve - by revealing Christ through beauty, service, and prayer. The Foundation lives by two central callings, the two "eyes" of its vision: 1. To care for those who have served - offering spiritual, moral, and practical support to retired clergy, and religious who have dedicated their lives to God's people. 2. To form those who will serve - encouraging and mentoring youth and emerging Christian artist to discover their gifts as instruments of divine love. Through these twin missions, the Foundation embodies the Gospel of charity, affirming that every creative act offered in love becomes a reflection of the Creator Himself.
VISION STATEMENT
To honor and serve those who have served and to inspire the young-through sacred art that makes God's presence known.
